According to 911 Enable (

Alert), its Emergency Routing Service is a call routing service that provides enterprises or organizations with E911 connectivity to Public Safety Answering Points across the U.S. and Canada. Some of the important features of ERS include E911 connectivity to more than 6,000 PSAPs, a single national ALI databaseand compliance with all state and local E911 regulations.
Moreover, 911 Enable’s ERS facilitates enterprises to reduce E911 costs by eliminating the need to purchase and maintain regional PS-ALI accounts, dedicated 911 trunks, as well as local gateways at each company location.
In addition, ERS does not require any hardware or software support, thereby making the solution easy to deploy and manage. This not only results in significant cost savings but also reduces administrative burden for the organization.
Lev Deich, director of 911 Enable, said that the company is now offering Emergency Routing Service to enterprises that have deployed CER.
The successful completion of certification testing of ERS with CER enables the enterprises to combine the benefits of both the offerings - to meet their E911 requirements. Additionally, the combined solution helps organizations to provision highly granular locations as well as provide E911 support for off-campus workers.
"By combining the CER and ERS, organizations can now implement a cost-effective and complete E911 solution which ensures the safety of their entire workforce,” Deich said in a statement. “This is especially the case for enterprises with distributed networks, multiple branch offices, and work-at-home employees."
The Cisco Emergency Responder has the capability to automatically track IP phones and then instruct the Cisco Unified Communications (

In addition to E911 call routing service, 911 Enable also offers solutions such as automated phone tracking appliance and security desk notification system.
911 Enable said that the company’s solutions have been established according to FCC (
