Consultants' Corner

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!

[Click Here To See A Detailed List Of Consultants]

We had such a tremendously positive response to the Consultants’ Corner attraction at CTI™ EXPO Spring ’99 that we knew we had hit upon an event concept worth repeating. Not only did we receive more requests from consultants interested in taking part in the event than we could make room for, but many attendees also let us know how valuable it was to get to meet and pick the brains of some of the industry’s leading analysts. All CTI™ EXPO Fall ’99 attendees are able to attend Consultants’ Corner at no charge. Consultants’ Corner is an area of the exhibit hall floor dedicated to objectively educating attendees on various subject areas. As before, we will have a variety of consultants (some new blood of course) on hand who will share their expertise in the fields of Internet telephony, CTI, Call Centers, customer service and sales and marketing. If you are interested in participating in Consultants Corner as a consultant, please e-mail Stephanie Bauer at sbauer@tmcnet.com. TMC™ will handpick the most knowledgeable and thorough consultants available. Attendees can meet with them at no cost during the exhibit hall hours. If you are interested in speaking with the consultants at CTI EXPO Fall '99 , register for the exhibit hall online today, while it is still free!

FREE Learning Centers
[ View participating vendors here! ]

Popular locations on the exhibit floor to help you learn about the latest product and service innovations. By stressing objective education, we are providing the industry's only no-pressure, face-to-face venue to learn about these important industry topics.

At TMC our commitment to objectively educating our readers and attendees is unyielding — We continuously strive to provide you with information you need — Information that is vital to your career and from a source you can trust: TMC. Our editors and TMC Labs engineers toil endlessly to help VARs, interconnects, service providers, developers and end users purchase products that best suit their needs. Innovation and relentlessly perfecting every detail of the ideal educational expo experience for our valued attendees is what keeps CTI Expo ahead of all other shows.

CTI Expo promises the utmost in education and information you can use in bettering your company's future and the future of your career. Our learning centers are especially useful to a broad range of attendees as you can see from the following list we have prepared for your convenience.

CTI EXPO Fall '99 will feature six free Learning Centers:

  • Next-Gen Call Center Technology: E-commerce without human interaction is like shopping in a department store with no one to help answer your questions. Come learn how to marry your e-commerce and call center to provide the ultimate customer service.
  • Network CTI: By adding computer intelligence to the phone company’s network or PSTN cloud, Network CTI products and services allow you to leverage the network your service provider has built, giving you more flexibility in handling your telecom needs.
  • Linux CTI: Linux is robust, scalable, mission-critical and inexpensive. Many manufacturers are betting on Linux as the ideal open telephony server OS for you.
  • CT Media: A revolutionary new Intel/Microsoft/ Dialogic/ECTF open telephony standard used to construct a computer telephony (CT) server or open telephony server. A CT Server runsapplications and uses hardware from multiple vendors, freeing you to choose best of breed products
  • Development/Testing: Everything you need to develop applications from software to hardware to testing tools will be on display.
  • Wireless CTI: Palm-based computers will eventually merge with cell phones and IP will be the universal wireless networking standard. Come see how far wireless CTI technology has come and where it is headed.

CellIT

Live, Multimedia Blended Call Center

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!

The Live Multimedia Blended Call Center will be demonstrated in the CTI EXPO Fall '99 exhibit hall. Similar to a learning center, CTI EXPO and CellIT intend to objectively educate attendees on the latest multimedia call center technology and trends. Unlike a learning center, where multiple vendors educate on similar technologies, this area will have various vendors collaborating to provide a cohesive solution. As an added attraction, you will be able to witness this fully furnished and working call center making and taking telephone calls throughout CTI EXPO. If you have any involvement in the call center industry, you must come to CTI EXPO with all of your call center colleagues who need to stay current on where call center technology is headed. Keep up to date on the latest call center technology. The Live Multimedia Blended Call Center will be making outbound calls -- actively requesting participation in CTI EXPO, and will also be handling all incoming telephone calls from people with questions about the show.

Office Of The Future

Bombarded by increasing amounts of information, office workers feel as if they have lost control of their time and productivity, and this perception is exactly why CTI technology is crucial to your office. CTI technologies such as unified messaging, call control, fax servers, and speech recognition make it easier for office workers to organize and access the information they need to increase their productivity. CTI evolves so quickly that it’s tough to keep track of it all. For this reason, CTI™ EXPO will feature a free, live “Office Of The Future” right on the trade show floor. Drawing on the experience of the TMC Labs engineers, the “Office Of The Future” will bring together the latest and greatest CTI technologies in an office setting right on the exhibit hall floor. Through demonstrations involving live workers, attendees will discover how various CTI technologies complement each other to make their offices more efficient. Traveling salespeople, SOHO workers, executives, receptionists, indeed anyone who works in an office environment stands to benefit from implementing CTI. Some of the technologies showcased in the Office Of The Future will include a PC-based PBX, a voice/data switch, unified messaging, IP-based video conferencing, a speech-recognition auto-attendant, a multimedia/Web call center, wireless and phoneline networking, network fax, sales force technology, and mobile communications. CTI™ EXPO is committed to providing you with unique forums such as Office of the Future- available nowhere else - to help you make sense of the ever changing voice/data convergence market.

Various positions in a company will be demonstrated in “Office Of The Future”:

  • Informal Inside Sales
  • Outside Sales
  • SOHO
  • Administrative
  • Executive
  • Standard Workstation

Networked Home Pavilion

CurtCo Freedom Group is proud to sponsor CTI EXPO’s "Networked Home Pavilion," a centralized exhibition of today’s manufacturers and service providers specializing in home networking products and services, including PC telephony solutions providers, home phoneline and wireless network manufacturers, and structured wiring option providers. As the traditional call center applications of CTI and Internet telephony technologies become more affordable and applicable to other office settings, more and more companies -- even home offices -- can benefit from the tremendous cost efficiencies that these innovations make possible. You'll find these products and services demonstrated in this multi-vendor booth on the exhibit floor featuring industry products geared toward SOHO (small office/home office) technologies. The Pavilion will be sponsored by three of CurtCo's publications: Home Office Computing, Sales & Field Force Automation and Small Business Computing magazines.

Live, Enterprise CRM Demonstration

CRM (customer relationship management) has become one of the hottest disciplines in business today, and for good reason: CRM represents the enterprisewide integration of the activities of sales, marketing and customer service to provide a unified view of the customer for every department and customer contact point, enhancing the lifetime value of the customer to the company by vastly increasing the company’s knowledge of that customer. TMC recognizes the importance of an effective CRM strategy to today’s businesses, and at CTI™ EXPO Fall ‘99 we will have a complete, live, fully functional CRM solution right on the show floor! Our CRM demonstration will be tied into The “Office of the Future” and “Live, Multimedia Blended Call Center”, providing the most complete demonstration of CRM ever at any trade show.

ConvergeNET is a “live” network constructed at the show, allowing exhibitors to connect with other exhibitors for the purpose of proving that their Internet telephony products interoperate with others. Interoperability is crucial in the Internet telephony field and ConvergeNET will be the proving ground. Illustrating, once again, why CTI™ EXPO is such a unique forum.
