Carrier network solution provider DealFlow Networks (Suwanee, GA) has become a value-added reseller (VAR) of MRV’s entire product line.
Under the agreement, DealFlow will resell MRV’s LambdaDriver WDM system, Fiber Driver optical multi-service platform, OptiSwitch line of demarcation and aggregation products, TereScope line free space optics products and LX Series of intelligent remote management and out-of-band networking products.

Alert) reseller program, DealFlow Networks has demonstrated a commitment to learning their products inside and out, and they, in turn, are committed to providing them the highest level of support from their experienced sales staff.
Dan Van Dresser, executive vice president of DealFlow Networks, pointed out that one of the competitive advantages that DealFlow brings to its customers is the ability to provide a variety of solutions that they can tailor to the networks of the carrier customers they serve. He said that MRV is a great partner for them because it provides both the experience of a company that’s been in this industry for a long time and also cost-effective, full-featured products with the flexible architectures that enable their customers to plug them into their existing networks.
According to MRV Communications officials, MRV’s “5 STAR” Solution Provider Program featured five participation levels for the company’s channel sales partners: platinum, gold, silver, affiliate and sales agent.
The first two platinum and gold partners will be fully trained on all of MRV’s products and receive priority marketing and sales support from MRV staff. Silver partners are qualified to sell the entire product portfolio and have at least one MRV-certified sales representative. Both the affiliate and sales agent partners are qualified to sell LX Series console servers and OptiSwitch LAN switching products on an ad hoc basis.
