DigiLinea, a provider of telephony solutions over mobile networks to the U.S. Hispanic and Latin American markets, has announced the availability of DigiWeb a part of the DigiLinea Social Telephony Services.
These services will enable online companies, developers, consumers and businesses worldwide to make free or ultra low cost calls from their regular fixed or mobile phone to any phone in the world.
DigiWeb is positioned as an innovative and simple way to make cheap phone calls with the use of the Internet without headphones, microphones or acing to install any software at all.
Whether they are landline or mobile, DigiWeb will connect two standard telephones, even if the owner is not connected to the Internet. The service uses any Web browser and offers a cheaper way to use a regular phone.
Gregory Keough CEO and Chairman of DigiLinea said in a Wednesday statement, "The new DigiWeb service is particularly appropriate for the US Hispanic and Latin American markets we serve as it is just so simple to use and the only requirement is that you have access to a telephone.”
“As the service does not require, broadband, downloads, microphones, or headsets it is an easy to use calling service accessible to the majority of the US Hispanic and Latin American populations we serve. As almost 45% of all outbound calls from the US go to Latin America this makes for a very large and attractive market for the DigiWeb service.”
“Further, as you can access DigiWeb from your mobile phone it is a great way to avoid costly roaming

charges when traveling which is a large problem and very costly throughout Latin America," Keogh added.
The DigiWeb Service will be offered in two formats that include a premium service which is currently available where consumers pay pennies per minute to make international calls; and shortly on a free calling model sponsored by advertising whereby the client, in return for listening to a short targeted advertisement or promotion, can make free calls.
With DigiLinea, an ad can be specifically targeted to the area where the person is calling from or calling to as well as the clients stated interests. As a result, DigiLinea can offer relevant ads, coupons and promotions that provide value to consumers worldwide all from their existing fixed or mobile phone.
The DigiWeb service is available for a limited time on a free trial basis. To register for a free trial just visit the DigiLinea website, www.DigiLinea.com, and click on the "Try It Now" link to set up an account.
This service from DigiLinea definitely has a wide opportunity as it eases the process in which a consumer can communicate via the Internet, while also placing few restrictions on the type of phones and phone calls that can be placed. By offering such flexibility and functionality, the company is helping to ensure widespread and quick adoption.
