Wurldtech Security Technologies, a leading provider of cyber-security solutions to SCADA, process-control and critical infrastructure worldwide has announced that the company has been named by ISA as an approved service provider to support users of the newly launched Control Systems Cyber Security Self Assessment Tool (CS2SAT).

The CS2SAT application is an online tool that provides organizations that use SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and industrial control systems with a self-assessment tool for evaluating the security of the control system. This tool is developed by Idaho National Labs (INL) as part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Control System Security Program or CSSP. ISA’s Automation Standards Compliance Institute has selected industry leaders such as Wurldtech to participate in implementation and support services for this newly launched tool as part of the marketing and distribution agreement between the DHS and ISA.
Every CS2SAT license includes two free hours of phone support from ISA approved industrial automation controls security experts. The company’s support services efforts will be led by Wurldtech’s VP of Security Services, Bryan Singer, CISM, CISSP, Co-Chair of ISA SP99, who participated in the review and acceptance of this tool for the ISA.
To address facility specific control system information, the CS2SAT tool consists of a detailed questionnaire. The CS2SAT is based on control system related federal codes, industry standards.
