Alert) one-X Mobile Dual Mode Edition—combines the benefits of IP-based applications with Nokia devices like the Nokia E60, Nokia E61 and Nokia E70. It includes a dual-mode device with SIP

capabilities that makes and receives calls over wireless and mobile LANs, both on and off a company campus.
Greater convenience, enhanced functionality and improved security are promised. Such enterprise telephony features as conferencing, transfer, and extension dialing are included, and it also boasts such security benefits as the ability to authenticate the Nokia device to a PBX

Avaya one-X Mobile Edition extends the capabilities of an office deskphone to a cell phone, combining simplicity and ubiquity with powerful enterprise communications features. The cell phone can now act as an extension of the IP-PBX (

Alert).
First introduced as Avaya Mobile for Series 60, Avaya one-X Mobile Edition for S60 boasts several improvements over its predecessor. Japanese, Chinese, Dutch, Finnish and Portuguese are available in addition to the already available English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. There is now click-to-dial from the contact list, a battery indicator, and the ability to hide features disabled by the system administrator. one-X Mobile Edition can also be passcode-protected. And finally, users now have one-click access to Avaya Speech Access for Modular Messaging, enabling hands-free and sight-free access to voice mail, email, calendar, etc.
The solution can be obtained by downloading the Avaya one-X Mobile for Symbian (

Alert) Dual Mode application to the Nokia E60, Nokia E61 or Nokia E70. It requires Avaya Communication Manager software, Avaya SIP Enablement Services (SES) and an Avaya Extension to Cellular Dual Mode license.
