ACTAtek is an access control and time attendance system that provides security and accountability while preventing buddy punching.
With its built-in networking and web server support features, ACTAtek can be connected either directly to a PC or via the corporate network. Data can be accessed at anytime, independent of geographic location, via a standard web browser. It has a number of authentication tokens, from PIN with built-in CMOS camera, to Smart card and Fingerprint or a combination of the three.
ACTAtek has achieved IP-rated certification for its casing, which makes it weather-, water- and impact-resistant. ACTAtek uses a 500 DPI optical scanner resistant to electrical discharges. ACTAtek supports external readers, which allow connections to multiple doors. ACTAtek also works with Legic card platform in addition to existing Mifare Contactless card platform.
ACTAtek has a multi-tier access level feature, which allows users to have different set of access rights to the system while heightening security. ACTAtek can support various language platforms, including English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, German, and others.
