Dear Communications Outsourcing Subscriber:
The current economic climate has
been a major burden for many businesses, and hosted service
providers have faced especially difficult times in recent
months. Saddled with a new and still largely unproven business
model, as well as fierce competition from premises-based
software vendors, many communications service providers have
opted to throw in the towel, or have merged with larger
providers.
Because of the level of
volatility in the hosted services marketplace, we have decided
to place Communications Outsourcing magazine on hiatus --
with the sincere hope that we will resume print publication of
the magazine when economic conditions improve. This was a
difficult decision for us as this publication has a unique
focus, and we believe the hosted services marketplace still
holds a lot of promise.
The current issue of Communications
Outsourcing is online now, and you can check this page for
updates on the status of the publication. In the meantime, TMC
sister publications Internet
Telephony and Customer
Inter@ction Solutions magazines will cover relevant
areas of the hosted services arena. We will also carry breaking
