Equisys launched Zetadocs for Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics NAV version 4.0. The introduction is said to be the latest version of its document delivery and management software.

Using the Role Tailored Client to provide a ‘drag and drop’ interface, which automatically archives e-mails, faxes or scanned documents, creating links from NAV to SharePoint, the new version brings even tighter integration with NAV.

The companies, through this new functionality, available in the Capture Essentials and Capture Plus editions, are allowed to improve customer service levels by ensuring all information relating to a transaction in NAV is instantly available electronically from a secure, central location.

"When handling customer enquiries or resolving disputes, information needs to be instantly available to the person that has taken the call," said Chris Oswald, CEO at Equisys, in a press release. "If the agent has to retrieve information from multiple places to get a complete picture of what has happened, or a vital piece of information that came through on email has been lost, this delays the entire process, is inefficient and leads to annoyed customers. Using Zetadocs for NAV, all of this information can be retrieved directly from NAV and SharePoint so that queries can be answered first time, as quickly as possible."

The existing Delivery Essentials module of Zetadocs for NAV is complemented by Capture Essentials, which allows automatic delivery of documents such as invoices, statements and remittances via e-mail and/or fax from NAV. This also drastically reduces the cost of paper, consumables and postage, and ensures that documentation is instantly received by the customer which helps cut debtor days. Zetadocs for NAV, by reducing an organization’s reliance on paper, also helps limit carbon footprints.

The Capture Plus and Delivery Plus editions of Zetadocs for NAV 4.0 also provide Capture Plus and Delivery Plus. This allows customization of the delivery and captures functions and provides opportunities for full automation.

Equisys will showcase the new version of Zetadocs for NAV at Directions in San Diego this week, and Convergence (News - Alert) EMEA in London and The Hague. It will also be demonstrating the integration with the RTC at a speaking event with Microsoft at Convergence in the United Kingdom.
