3CLogic is one of the leading companies in the cloud call center world, so its executives are often called to present at leading industry events. This is underlined with the recent announcement that Raj Sharma, 3CLogic (News - Alert) President and COO, will address the range of benefits businesses can achieve by migrating to IP and cloud within the contact center business world during the upcoming ITEXPO.
“Enterprise customers are having real debates about whether to move to cloud, stay with premise based equipment, or adopt a hybrid model. The ITEXPO (News - Alert) sessions will cover the pros and cons of each of the approaches, and also share practical pathways to decision making we have seen our customers adopt,” Sharma said in a recent release.
The executive added that call centers have been slow to pick up new technology, especially when it comes to the cloud. They’ve especially lagged behind their PBX (News - Alert) counterparts, but he believes that the call center industry might finally have reached a point where call centers can actually learn from the PBX industry and start to actually accelerate the move to the could for call centers.
In order to demonstrate this, the company will actually be hosting two different sessions at the ITEXPO, which kicks off in the next couple of days. The first session, “The Benefits of Transitioning to IP Data Connectivity within the Contact Center,” will look at the different advantages companies can find by moving to VoIP in the contact center world.
The second section, titled “On-Premise vs. Cloud,” is set to underline the key differences that can be found when firms are looking at either deployment alternative. This section will also attempt to explain to these firms how they can get the most out of their investment when it comes to choosing the deployment.
