Oaisys Makes Available New Version of Talkument and Tracer Solutions

OAISYS, a provider of business call recording and contact center management solutions, has announced the general availability of a new version of Talkument and Tracer solutions.


The new version, 7.0, comes with public safety enhancements and key functionalities aimed at simplifying solution administration and enhancing overall performance for the enterprise market.

Talkument and Tracer call recording solutions are now compatible with prominent IP business communication systems, including from Avaya, Mitel, ShoreTel, Toshiba and more. Company officials said that the offering helps companies improve customer service, reduce costs, increase revenue and drive overall profitability.

The version 7.0 of the OAISYS (News - Alert) software solutions includes features such as Microsoft Active Directory Integration, which benefits administrators by creating a single point of administration. With the optional integration, OAISYS recording solutions can retrieve user account credentials and groups from Active Directory, said company officials.

Additionally, the newest version comes with enhanced screen recording flexibility. Company officials said that Tracer Screen Recording functionality can now be enabled using a variety of triggers, such as via voice activation, integration with a predictive dialer or other third-party application, and via the OAISYS Desktop Client Application.

It also features multiple Mitel (News - Alert) MiTAI connections. Company officials said that for Mitel customers using the MiTAI Application Programming Interface (API), OAISYS solutions can support multiple MiTAI connections, which allows a reduction in the number of OAISYS recording platforms required to run in a multi-node configuration.

Quality monitoring enhancements are included in this latest version of the OAISYS software solutions. Company officials said that OAISYS evaluations have been enhanced, enabling categorical grouping of evaluation criteria, customized effectiveness codes for total business process alignment and a more flexible user interface. These optimizations include the use of radio buttons, drop-down menus and default values.

For users in the public safety market, the enhancements include automatic location identification (ALI), a physical address service that corresponds with a phone number. Company officials said that ALI information is now integrated into the OAISYS Management Studio and is searchable.

Moreover, it’s equipped with a spoken-time overlay feature that reflects the real time in which a call took place and can be heard during playback of the recording. Company officials said that the feature may be enabled or disabled during playback and is supported in both the standard OAISYS network player and a stand-alone player.

Earlier in May, OAISYS announced that it is a platinum-level sponsor at the Mitel Business Partner Conference 2011.
