ClickSoftware Announces SaaS-based End-to-End Service Chain Optimization
ClickSoftware Technologies Ltd., a provider of automated workforce management and optimization solutions, has introduced ClickSoftware (News - Alert) OnDemand, the first holistic enterprise-level SaaS-based workforce management and optimization solution.
Officials with ClickSoftware said that the major innovation, available today, adds a new choice for customers who can now buy and deploy the company's entire ServiceOptimization Suite, in a highly scalable, reliable and flexible on-demand model.
Company officials said that ClickSoftware OnDemand, which encompasses the full suite of solutions, including flagship offerings ClickMobile, ClickSchedule and ClickRoster, delivers a new way for customers to access the power of a proven portfolio of solutions that can streamline operations and improve efficiencies across the entire service organization.
'Customers are constantly looking for ways to improve how technology supports their business and increases the return on their investment. Enabling a SaaS (News - Alert) mode of delivery was a primary goal as we were developing Version 8, our Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)-based release of ClickSoftware's suite of products that was completed last year,' said Dr. Moshe BenBassat (News - Alert), chairman and CEO of ClickSoftware, in a statement.
Dr. BenBassat said that the company is extremely pleased to now bring ClickSoftware OnDemand to the market.
He said that leveraging advances in cloud computing and the power of Version 8 make it possible to deliver even the most advanced solutions without any impact on quality, reliability or scalability.
Company officials said that ClickSoftware OnDemand gives service businesses a more flexible way to schedule customer appointments, dispatch the right personnel and resources, and ensure responsive service is done right - the first time. With a rapid implementation, customers can be delivering faster and better service within days.
'Aberdeen (News - Alert)'s research is taking an increasing interest in on-demand deployment models for service solutions, as evidenced by 28 percent of respondents who claim their interest in SaaS-based mobile solutions for 12 months,' said Sumair Dutta, senior research analyst at Boston-based Aberdeen Group.
Dutta said that the choice of deployment models for end-to-end workforce management capabilities such as scheduling, planning and mobility being offered by ClickSoftware provides organizations with a flexible and scalable deployment roadmap that matches IT requirements without sacrificing service executive intentions for increased profitability, productivity and customer satisfaction.
