Airota Highlights Workforce Management for Travel Industry
Airota is showcasing its workforce management app at the TFWA World Exhibition. This is an event for the duty free and travel retail industries taking place this week in Cannes.
This workforce management tool allows for administration, communication, reporting and analytic services, and staff management. It was designed for use by the travel retail industry. And Airota says it has enabled customers to improve senior management efficiency by more than 40 percent and helped gobal travel retailers to realize more than 30 percent year-over-year growth.
John Elliott, founder and chairman of Synergy (News - Alert) Promotions, established Airota. The company is now two years old. And Synergy is among its customers. Other Airota customers include Moet Hennessy North Europe and William Grant & Sons Brands Ltd.
“Airota is critical for our business,” says Oscar Camargo, business development manager of William Grant & Sons Brands Ltd. “It allows us to make changes and react to issues and obtain better results.”
The Airota solution consolidates all promotional information in a single place and keeps businesses informed as to the status of their activitations.
“This is an extremely user friendly system and has resulted in huge growth across all of our U.K. sites this year,” says Paula Elliott, managing director of liquor for U.K. and Ireland Synergy Promotions. She adds that it provides Synergy with control of all its business processes, and that it enables staff to see the work they’ve been allocated.
The global workforce management market was worth $4.8 billion last year and will reach $11.09 billion by 2025, according to Grand View Research Inc.
“The retail application segment held the largest market share in 2016 at more than 23.1% percent of the overall revenue and was followed by the health care segment,” according to Grand View Research. “The labor-intensive nature of the segment has been a major factor leading to the adoption of workforce management solutions in these industries. Solutions such as time and attendance and absence management are also in high demand in these application industries.”
