Brendan Courtney Appointed President and CEO of Parallon's Workforce Management Unit
Brendan Courtney has joined as president and CEO of Parallon Business Solutions’ Workforce Management Solutions business unit. Today, Parallon Business Solutions provides healthcare business and operational services. Courtney will succeed Jack Lisle who is retiring.
“As a 25-year veteran in professional staffing and recruiting at top companies, Brendan’s leadership experience will enable Parallon to continue to evolve our workforce management products and services to stay at the forefront of clients’ needs,” said Michael O’Boyle, Parallon CEO.
Courtney has served as president at Randstad Finance & Accounting, Randstad Human Resources and the specialized professional placement firms The Mergis Group. In addition, he has held several leadership positions with professional services and recruiting companies in an impressive career spanning over two decades.
“With labor costs the single largest driver of spending growth for hospitals, innovative workforce management strategies play a critical role in Parallon’s goal to help providers tackle the formidable challenges they face with solutions that increase cash flow, reduce costs and gain operational efficiencies,” added O’Boyle.
Parallon collaborates with hospitals and healthcare systems to improve their business performance through proven practices in revenue cycle, group purchasing through HealthTrust, supply chain, technology, workforce management and consulting.
The company was recently in news for signing a five-year agreement to provide full-service revenue cycle solutions to Huntsville Memorial Hospital, a not-for-profit acute care community hospital located in Huntsville, Texas.
