SAP (News - Alert) and SuccessFactors, a SAP company, today unveiled their unified product direction for human capital management (HCM) solutions. The companies will provide solutions to the biggest challenges of workforce management that business leaders around the world face such as managing their talent, enhancing performance and creating results.


HCM is gaining focus in the market as companies realize that improving workforce management is critical to a successful business. To benefit customers, the two companies are combining SuccessFactors Business Execution (BizX) Suite with SAP solutions to provide the most innovative HCM offerings.

SuccessFactors is a provider of cloud-based Business Execution Software and delivers workforce management solutions such as business alignment, team execution, people performance, and learning management solutions to organizations of all sizes. Success Factors has more than 3,500 customers in more than 168 countries using its application suite in 35 languages.

An enterprise application software company, SAP helps companies and industries improve their workforce management and ultimately run better. SAP’s desktop to mobile device empowers people and organizations to work together more efficiently and use business insight effectively to stay ahead of the competition.

SuccessFactors Employee Central solution is the core human resources (HR) offering in the cloud. Backed by more than 25 years of experience from SAP in core HR. SAP will continue to offer the SAP ERP Human Capital Management (SAP ERP HCM) solution on premise for core HR.

Together SAP and SuccessFactors can make aggregate HR benchmark insights available in the cloud to hundreds of thousands of customers. It will increase customer value by speeding up processes, enabling access to large amounts of data in shorter periods of time and providing real-time access to information. Analytics are also an important focus within both SAP ERP HCM and the SuccessFactors product portfolios, leveraging assets including SuccessFactors Workforce Analytics, SuccessFactors Workforce Planning, the SAP HANA platform and solutions from the SAP BusinessObjects portfolio.
