Atlas Business Solutions, Inc, a developer of business management software, recently updated its ScheduleBase employee scheduling solution with a new feature that allows businesses to manage individual schedules for multiple locations.

ScheduleBase is designed to facilitate communication between managers and staff, and the newly added feature is meant to enable businesses to easily keep track of employees who work at more than one location.

“Shared employees and their work schedules are always visible to prevent overtime and blatant schedule conflicts,” said Jon Forknell, vice president & general manager at Atlas Business Solutions.

The new feature offers a range of benefits, including clearing up employee confusion over which location they are scheduled for. It also helps managers to avoid creating overlapping schedules, where an employee is set to work at two different locations.

ScheduleBase’s new feature also helps its multi-unit retail and restaurant clients avoid unnecessary overtime assignments.

“When schedules are posted, employees will automatically receive a composite schedule view from any schedule where they're scheduled to work and will instantly see where to report to work,” added Forknell.

ScheduleBase software can be accessed from any device with Internet access. Users have the option to choose a plan that begins at $10 a month, suitable for managing up to 20 employees’ schedules.

Interested users can try ScheduleBase free of cost for a 30-day trial period.

Atlas was was in news last year when Arizona State University (ASU) selected ScheduleAnywhere to improve and streamline its staff scheduling process.

ScheduleAnywhere is being used to improve the coordination and communication of shift schedules and to improve operations for the campus police department at the University.

“ASU is a flagship department that’s accredited by the Commission of Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies and we couldn’t be prouder of our selection,” said Forknell.
