Ongoing Operations' Collaboration Suite to be Delivered via Cloudworks' Solutions

Business continuity and disaster recovery provider Ongoing Operations shifted gears slightly to better serve its client credit unions and expanded its offerings by acquiring Cloudworks, an experienced cloud services provider, in late 2011. That however, was just the beginning for Ongoing Operations, which took a bigger step and added Cloudworks’ solutions to its unique collaboration suite, which offers a seamless integration with hosted Microsoft (News - Alert) SharePoint, hosted Microsoft Lync and hosted VoIP.

This means that the collaboration suite, delivered via Cloudworks, will allow users to share their desktop and files instantly, have access to secure messaging, conference calls and video conferencing and also to a dedicated call center, all from a single platform.

In addition, users can connect with any contact through multiple channels instantly , meet business partners anywhere, anytime – in short, be accessible to teams and people 24/7.

Delivered via the Cloudworks Community cloud, the collaboration suite ensures credit union compliant security, is flexible and scalable and has an excellent support team working round the clock to ensure satisfaction. As a result of this enhanced functionality, communication is expected to improve as is productivity and performance.

With technology clearly shifting toward the cloud, the way organizations manage everything from desktops to disaster recovery, will also evolve. Hence, the addition of cloud solutions to Ongoing Operations’ collaboration suite is considered rather significant.

By becoming both a business continuity provider and a cloud CUSO, Ongoing is helping financial institutions and organizations move production securely into the cloud.

Ongoing Operations also launched its application hosting services earlier in 2012. People will be able to virtually run any application they need in order for their company to be productive. In addition, they will also be able to achieve greater scalability, flexibility and cost-efficiency compared to internal hosting and management.
