ARRIS to Showcase its Euro-DOCSIS Wideband Services and Others at ANGA 2010

ARRIS has announced that it will be showcasing its portfolio of Euro-DOCSIS wideband services, On Demand Video, Network and Workforce Management and Access & Transport solutions at ANGA 2010 Exhibition and Conference to be held between May 4th and 6th in Cologne, Germany.
Jobst Muhlbach, VP, On Demand Solutions, ARRIS EMEA will also give a speech on 'Advanced RS-DVR Monetization through Integrated Advertising' on the 6th of May.
The company will demonstrate its ARRIS DOCSIS 3.0 Wideband solution which is capable of delivering data speeds in the 300+ Mbps range. This is possible by using the C4 CMTS and the 8Dx4U channel bonding capabilities of Touchstone (News - Alert) DOCSIS CPE devices. The C4c compact CMTS chassis, new Touchstone wireless voice and data modems and ServAssure network management software offer optimized customer experience, said company sources.
The ARRIS Three Screen solution is capable of seamlessly delivering personalized content and entertainment to subscribers on multiple devices. The company plans to use ConvergeMedia Application Management and XMS Distribution Platform as well as the C4 CMTS, D5 Universal Edge QAM, Touchstone Cable Modems and Moxi Set Top Box during the demonstration.
The ARRIS ConvergeMedia Advanced Advertising Unified Platform will be showcased along with ARRIS Access and Transport Fiber Solutions with RFoG for Video, Voice and Data and EPON for high speed data services. ARRIS multi wavelength solutions feature both single and dual density forward CORWave technology transmitters for multiplexing up to four wavelengths in a single fiber.
According to company sources the ARRIS WorkAssure remote workforce software management system will help operators save a lot on truck rolls besides controlling operational expenses.
