Flowfinity Streamlines Workforce Management for Cinematronix

Flowfinity software has streamlined workforce management for Cinematronix, the largest provider of cinema equipment and services in Canada. Cinematronix was searching for a solution that could help it to manage, invoice, and track the activities of field technicians for their business volumes. So, the company decided to implement software from Flowfinity Wireless, a provider of enterprise mobile applications.

The solution has enabled Cinematronix to replace its paper-based system for work orders, dispatch, and billing with an electronic workflow system.  Software from Flowfinity Wireless also allows Cinematronix’s field technicians to report their activities through their smartphones and tablets.

"The Flowfinity system represented a shift in approach for both our technical and office teams, with our field service personnel making important changes to how they tracked and reported their work," said Kevin Eagle, principal, Cinematronix.

Other benefits delivered to Cinematronix include elimination of paperwork and faster turnaround on billing. The company appreciates Flowfinity as its solution could easily integrate with existing back-end systems such as billing.

"We've seen a distinct improvement in productivity with the technicians entering their activities "on-the-go" as the work happens. As a result we have achieved speedier processing and tracking of our past, present and future projects and technicians' activities," added Eagle.

Flowfinity provides a fully customizable solution for building enterprise mobile applications without programming. It has helped companies across industries to empower their mobile workforces.

The company was in news last month for announcing the upcoming release of Flowfinity Actions 7.0, which is expected to strengthen its mobile workforce management offering.
