Flowfinity's Updated Mobile Workforce Management Solution Improves Customer Service
By Amanda Ciccatelli, TMCnet Web Editor
These days, mobile workforce management software has moved far beyond dispatching and field updates, and now requires everyone in the workforce to complete work directly from the field.
Flowfinity Wireless Inc., a provider of enterprise mobile applications, has unveiled its latest product, Flowfinity Actions 7.0, which will strengthen its mobile workforce management offering. Its new features enhance employee productivity, provide insight into field operations and improve customer service.
Flowfinity provides a customizable solution for building enterprise mobile applications without programming. Since 2000, the company has helped companies empower their mobile workforces in order to ramp up productivity, engage management, and improve business insight.
"The latest release of Flowfinity Actions delivers many benefits to field service organizations looking to improve their business through a mobile solution," says Larry Wilson, VP of Sales and Marketing, Flowfinity, in a statement.
This new version’s online or offline GPS proximity look-up allows field technicians to find supplier locations and customer addresses. Also, this feature can be used to improve employee accountability with accurate reporting on employee locations. A new offline quick search feature enables efficient searches of offline data like customer information, materials and work orders.
Wilson added, "The new offline features are designed to improve employee productivity, which translates into lower costs and increased revenue. Our field service customers have consistently leveraged Flowfinity to improve the value of their service offering."
Field service organizations can maintain separate apps or lists for materials, customers, timesheets, or other data and transfer the data from one app to another. Copying fields between forms will improve productivity with less data entry required for each form.
PDF attachments including technical diagrams, instructions, or invoices can be viewed within the Flowfinity app. User interface improvements will offer flexibility in extending the system into a branded customer portal for improved customer service.
By making it seamless to mobilize daily business processes on Android (News - Alert), iPhone, iPad and BlackBerry tablets and smartphones, Flowfinity enables mobile teams to access, report and even share information when and where it’s needed.
