Regina Transit Chooses Trapeze Group for its Workforce Management System

Regina Transit, a public transportation agency operated by the city of Regina is trying to improve its business processes and back end operations. To meet this need, Regina Transit of Saskatchewan has selected Trapeze to enable Regina's employees to have the opportunity to utilize additional Trapeze software for its workforce management.
Trapeze provides some of the most advanced software, intelligent transportation systems and mobile technologies in the industry. The company is aware about the fact that the quality and scope of their services, and safely transports will cost less to people.
But, the company is not new to Regina region as Regina's schedulers have been benefiting from the Trapeze Fixed Route automated scheduling solution for several years. Trapeze provides some of the most advanced software, intelligent transportation systems and mobile technologies in the industry.
According to a statement, Trapeze software has been installed by Regina Transit for better workforce management. Under this service, Regina employees can sign ups, dispatching of daily activities, timekeeping, yard management and workforce management. Regina has updated this solution with web-based employee self-service technologies to support Regina Transit's work sign-in, work bidding and workforce management processes.
Brad Bells, acting transit director at Regina Transit, said, “With the automation of dispatching and better accountability of service, we anticipate Trapeze OPS making us more efficient, and being more accurate at forecasting our deliverable service hours and manpower.”
The Trapeze operations management solution is capable of streamline frequently performed operational tasks including bidding, dispatching, timekeeping, workforce management and yard management. It can be further enhanced with employee self-service tools such as interactive voice response (IVR) access to work assignments, work sign-in automation, web-based bidding and secured access to their own employee and operational information.
