One of the most recently introduced wireless headsets available from Quagga is Plantronics’ (News - Alert) CS55H designed for home use with a corded or cordless phone. The headset comes with a home phone adapter for easy installation.
While you may think of a wireless headset as being a business tool, there is no reason why you shouldn’t enjoy the same freedom to move about at home as you do while in the office. That is exactly the need the CS55H is designed to fill.
The CS55H features roaming
range of up to 300 feet, and as many as ten hours of talk time. One-touch controls are included for call answer/end, volume, and mute. Interference with other wireless devices is minimized with the use of
1.9GHz technology.
Physical comfort is a key feature of the CS55H. The speaker portion of the headset—featuring a noise-canceling microphone that filters out background noises—can be attached interchangeably to over-the-head or over-the-ear wearing options.
“Customers have been asking for a wireless headset for cordless phones for years,” Quagga General Manager Tim Keester told TMCnet. “Plantronics has delivered an elegant solution that doesn’t require wearing the cordless phone on the belt.”
