Verizon (News - Alert) Wireless, a provider of a 4G LTE network as well as a 3G network, has recently expanded its 4G LTE network in 22 markets including in the Philadelphia area which will help to increase wireless connectivity significantly.
On Thursday, June 21, the wireless connectivity provider also revealed plans to launch its 4G LTE (News - Alert) network in an additional 46 new markets.
This expansion will enable customers in more areas to take advantage of the company's blazing fast 4G LTE speeds and connectivity. Now, with the new and expanded markets, the Verizon Wireless (News - Alert) 4G LTE network will be available in a total of 304 markets around the country.
In a press release, Regional President Mario Turco said, "The expansion of our 4G LTE network in the Philadelphia region demonstrates our commitment to continuously expand the network and provide our customers with the highest quality communications standards." "Our 4G LTE network allows our customers to download music or upload photos faster than ever before, broadening their communications possibilities with family, friends and colleagues."
More residents and businesses in communities to the north, east and south of Philadelphia will now have access to the nation's fastest 4G network due to this enhancement. Specifically, to the north, portions of Bucks, Montgomery, Chester and Delaware Counties will be covered including Newtown in Bucks County, and North Wales, Gwynedd, Spring House, Blue Bell, Collegeville, Malvern, Eagleville, Pocopson and Oaks in Montgomery County. Further, 4G LTE in Chester County will be available in Devault, Exton, Downingtown, Malvern and West Chester.
To the east of the Pennsylvania city 4G LTE will be expanded in Mercer, Burlington and Camden Counties in N.J., while to the south the 4G LTE expansion includes portions of Gloucester and Salem Counties in N. J., New Castle County in Del., and Cecil County in Md.
