The Conference Group (News - Alert), a full service provider of audio, video and Web conferencing services, is taking its products on the road to highlight the firm’s conferencing services at an upcoming communications industry event.

 

The company plans to display is full suite of conferencing products, but primarily will focus on its ReadyShow products, which includes video and Web conferencing solutions. With the increased interest in videoconferencing, the company plans to focus on ReadyShow Video, a browser-based desktop service, Greg Plum (News - Alert), director of Business Development for The Conference Group, said. 

 

The Channel Partners Conference & Expo 2010 event, which takes place March 1-3, targets indirect sales organizations.

 

During the event, Plum will also participate in a session on desktop videoconferencing.  The discussion, called “Desktop Video Conferencing for Dummies,” will cover the basics of desktop videoconferencing. Plum also plans to conduct a live demo of the service with a remote, international participant.

 

Some reasons for the growth of videoconference services include ease of access, decreased cost of bandwidth, and easy to manage flat rate pricing packages, Plum said.

 

“Our starter packages make it possible for even small enterprises to implement this service with no capital expense and nominal on-going expense,” Plum said.
