Voiceserve and VoipSwitch Boss Talks VoIP platforms, Economic Markets and More

By Tim Gray, TMCnet Web Editor

I recently had the opportunity to interview Mr. Michael Bibelman, chief executive officer of London-based Voiceserve Inc with ticker symbol VSRV: OTCBB, which includes its subsidiary VoipSwitch Inc. The topic of the conversation focused on VoIP platforms, the current economic climate’s effects on business and more.

VoipSwitch develops VoIP platform solutions for global telecommunications service providers, helping operators deliver secure, reliable services that are fully interoperable with other IP telephony standards and systems.

Given the current economic environment, how is your company changing the way it does business as a result?

We believe that ultimately we have the perfect product for the current economic environment. The telecom industry is experiencing demand from its clientele to have the facility to offer its customers, ranging from business’s to home owners, low cost communication facilities from land lines and mobiles. Our companies’ policy since the beginning of this year is to exhibit at key world wide exhibitions, with the TMC (News - Alert) being a perfect platform.

How have customers reacted to the slowing global markets?

Customers are looking for viable cost effective reliable robust solutions. The large range of the Voipswitch modules caters for a broad spectrum of VOIP, ISP and WIFI operators.

Do you see this time as an opportunity or a rough spot to get through quickly?

It is evident from lead requests following exhibitions that the demand for economic telephony solutions is increasing globally. Our pricing per License with Modules offered places us well with regard to our competitors systems.

What will companies need to do to survive this downturn?

Companies will need to focus on their clients demands and adapt according to the market conditions.

How do your company’s products help customers in a slow market?

The term “slow market” is relative to specific industries. The telecom industries revenues streams in general do not seem to be showing any slowdown.

Please outline your corporate initiatives for 2009.

Voiceserve’s corporate goal is to promote its existing modules to VOIP, WIFI, and ISP operators globally. Our R&D technicians are also working on launching towards the end of Q3 2009 IPTV (News - Alert), which will hopefully attract an ever broader Voipswitch client base.

What pains does your company solve for customers?

Voipswitch customers can link companies, families, institutions and corporations globally through fixed and mobile telephony at a fraction of the cost as long as the call is based in Internet telephony.

How do you think the future of the market looks?

With WIFI coverage gaining momentum giving access to mobile Internet access, the future looks like a field day for the Telecom industry.

Will the U.S remain the largest opportunity for your company?

Our company has only just begun focusing on the US market, and believes that having such a vast population, the potential is tremendous. One however cannot undermine other markets globally.

What can our readers expect to see from VoipSwitch in 2009?

We are hoping to continue with steady sustained growth through the current year.
