Tone Software (News - Alert), an Anaheim, Calif.-based global provider of end-to-end monitoring and management solutions for converged telecommunications and IT infrastructures, announced recently a distribution and reseller partnership with Crytycal Service Management, a monitoring service provider in the telecommunications industry with specific expertise in critical event and remote remedial monitoring, as well as proactive network infrastructure support.
In related news, Tone Software Corporation also recently introduced the “ReliaTel-Streamline Partner Plus Program,” which provides managed service providers, integrators, value added resellers and channel partners with strategic sales, marketing and engineering support.
Under the terms of the Tone-CSM partnership, CSM will market the “Streamline IP Voice Analytics and Management" solution, that Tone Software recently acquired and integrated into its ReliaTel-Streamline solution for unified management of faults, performance, VoIP quality of service and network capacity in multi-platform, converged environments, company officials said.
“The Streamline technology fills a strategic need for CSM, providing the ability to manage clients’ diverse, converging voice networks that are increasingly moving toward unified communications, mobility and collaboration,” said Tim Brennan, vice president, Crytycal Services Management.

CSM will use Streamline VoIP QoS monitoring and analytics technology in its national monitoring center, where CSM receives and evaluates clients’ voice network health, performance and quality metrics, and provides tier 1 and tier 2 remote resolution support.
Further, the company will utilize Streamline’s pre-network assessments to analyze the VoIP readiness of its clients’ networks, and will harness Streamline’s multi-vendor support to provide ongoing IP voice QoS monitoring across its clients’ diverse time division multiplexing and IP voice platforms from Avaya (News - Alert), Nortel, Mitel, and many other voice technologies.
“Combining the strength and flexibility of the Streamline technology with 15 years of telecommunications expertise positions CSM as a premier service provider with unparalleled capabilities to provide VoIP monitoring and management service programs that are customized to best meet each client’s specific needs,” Brennan said.
The company said that it will also resell the Streamline VoIP QoS technologies to its dealer and channel partners.
