Tone Software Corporation announced today that its ReliaTel UC Service Management technology will be fueling Belltech’s Bell360 UC Managed Services Offering.
Belltech, a South American company that provides Contact Center, IP Telephony, Unified Communications (News - Alert) and Point of Sale technology services, enlisted Tone’s technology to add flexibility to the services they provide their extensive network. ReliaTel will allow Bell360 to oversee and regulate VoIP quality across a host of UC technologies, manage UC service levels in real-time, and provide remote access, remediation and reporting capabilities.
Belltech, which has expanded across 100 countries since its 1998 founding, seeks to both lower its clients’ costs and increase clients’ access to UC services with this pairing.
"ReliaTel provides the flexibility we need to manage the diverse technologies and configurations we deploy through one solution, and enables our teams to meet our SLAs and improve the overall performance of the communications and collaboration platforms our clients depend on to conduct business,” said David Vaizer, global services and support director for Belltech.
Belltech vice president Rodney Everarv cited “ReliaTel's advantages, such as the re-brandable interface and flexible licensing options” as two important factors in the company’s decision. With those traits, Everarv noted, “Belltech is well positioned to provide the most competitive and comprehensive UC managed services offering available today.”
Tone Software’s (News - Alert) ReliaTel consolidates managed service providers, UC as a service, value added resellers, and enterprises to manage and monitor entire collaboration ecosystems. The technology performs across almost all VoIP and UC platforms, including Avaya, Avaya Blue (Nortel), Cisco, Lync/Skype (News - Alert) for Business, and also hosts Skype for Business.
Tone’s expansion into South America precipitates a broader shift in the VoIP market, as Tone and other VoIP companies are expanding their global presence. A recent Persistence Market Research report showed that the market will, in the near future, come to be dominated by growing economies in the Asia-Pacific, including China, Indonesia, India, and South Korea.
This announcement comes on the heels of Tone’s recent upgrade to ReliaTel, the Visual360 intelligence portal, which provides real-time visual representation and metrics of UC environments.
