Telcom & Data, a provider of business phone systems, has unveiled the Revolabs FLX Wireless VoIP conference phone designed for conference rooms, executive offices and SoHo environments.
Revolabs FLX redefines the traditional design of conventional phones with a special set of functionalities and style that offers users the choice of placement and freedom of the speakers, microphone and dial pad – the speaker and microphones can be placed anywhere around the room for convenience and increased audio quality.
The company says the FLX phone adapts to the user and not the other way around. Available with either a VoIP or analog phone interface, the phone can also serve as the audio interface with virtually any major brand of video conferencing equipment, providing the same high end audio performance within video calls.
The phone makes use of wireless audio solutions provider Revolabs’ technology, which has been lauded for its capability to deliver superior sound quality for audio and video conferencing to large conference rooms and boardrooms.
With the security of an encrypted voice signal, no one will be able to listen in on the signal sent between the microphones, the speaker, and the base station. Revolabs FLX uses digital RF wireless operating in the globally accepted 1.9 GHz ISM band, minimizing interference with other technologies.
The FLX Wireless VoIP Conference Phone (News - Alert) is built with Bluetooth capabilities, and a user can turn a smartphone into a conference phone by connecting it to the FLX.
Some of the notable benefits of the Revolabs FLX phone are versatility, crystal-clear audio, no GSM interference, secure with 128-bit encryption, convenience, cost-effectiveness and more.
In related news, Telcom & Data introduced multi-tech VoIP gateways for companies wanting to make telecommuting available to employees and the company’s customers participated in special Minuteman UPS/Para Systems rebate program.
