In some exciting news in the VoIP monitoring and technology space, it has been revealed that TelcoBridges’ (News - Alert) Tmedia VoIP Gateways are now supporting CAFÉ Communication Applications Framework Engine from telecommunications solution provider, Movius.
Movius’ (News - Alert) CAFÉ offers a competitive advantage to local service providers who can use it to quickly deploy easy-to-use services. This solution is different from other traditional telecom solutions in the market, as they require particular hardware before delivering.
In contrast, Movius’ CAFÉ bridges telephony with the Web, providing users with a set of pre-built social, local and mobile applications. These applications are accompanied with a full-featured Applications Development Kit (ADK) that helps design custom applications.
Moreover, these applications provide controlled access to operator content and user data.
TelcoBridges’ Tmedia gateways are enabling Movius to connect its solutions to their customers’ existing telecom infrastructure. This connection in turn helps assist with the conversion of TDM links to VoIP, as well as provides IP-based solutions such as voicemail.
Additionally, TelcoBridges is providing 1+1 high-availability solution and worldwide support to Movius.
“We have selected Tmedia because of its superior performance and its flexibility. Solutions such as our IP-based voice mail application are used by wireless carriers with millions of subscribers,” explained Amit Modi, CTO, Movius in a statement. “The ability to support a high call rate is critical, and the system must always be on, without fail. For our customers, performance and reliability are not negotiable, and that’s why we’ve chosen to work with TelcoBridges.”
TelcoBridges designs and manufactures carrier grade, high performance, and high-density VoIP media gateways to bridge the gap between TDM and IP. The company was in news earlier this year for partnering with Alaris Lab.
