It’s still all roses for Tone Software (News - Alert) long after Valentine’s Day as the provider of voice management software for converged telecommunications and IT infrastructures announced that its ReliaTel VoIP and UC management solution is compliant with key messaging solutions from Avaya (News - Alert), a global provider of business collaboration systems, software and services.
“ReliaTel provides both deep analytics and broad visibility across the entire voice and data ecosystem, delivering the critical quality and performance necessary for businesses to communicate, collaborate and innovate,” said Amit Kapoor, director of strategic technology for Tone, in a statement. “Through compliance testing with Avaya, our mutual clients are assured of interoperable solutions that seamlessly integrate into the overall unified messaging strategy of their businesses.”
Tone Software’s ReliaTel solution is a complete service assurance platform that ensures that managed service providers and enterprises are proactively managing VoIP QoS, SIP Trunks, and UC network performances to meet their service level agreements, lower operational costs, and drive higher business ROI from their communications technologies. With this latest news, the voice management application has become compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Modular Messaging 5.2.
ReliaTel uses the SNMP interfaces from the Avaya Modular Messaging system (Avaya Messaging Storage Server (MSS) and Avaya Messaging Application Server) to provide alarm monitoring, according to company officials.
The company’s ReliaTel solution provides SNMP monitoring and alarm management for Avaya Modular Messaging, including device health and connectivity. Moreover, ReliaTel manages VoIP and UC servers and gateways, voice and data network components, TDM PBXs and call center devices through a unified management platform.
Because it’s a Technology Partner in the Avaya DevConnect (News - Alert) program – an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network – Tone Software is eligible to submit products for compliance testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab.
“Technology partners like Tone Software are helping Avaya offer customers a broad selection of interoperable, standards-based communications solutions,” said Eric Rossman (News - Alert), vice president, developer relations, Avaya. “As a result, companies can confidently build their communications infrastructure to fit their business today, knowing that their investments will continue to deliver ROI as they evolve and progress.”
In other company news, Tone Software recently announced it has been ranked high in customer satisfaction and performance in Dun & Bradstreet's (News - Alert) Open Ratings Evaluation.
The Past Performance Evaluation (PPE) from Open Ratings, a division of Dun & Bradstreet, is based on the survey feedback collected from verified clients. The survey, which measured the company’s performance across different categories, gave Tone Software 94 out of a possible 100.
