Clare Computer Solutions (CCS), one of the premier IT service providers in Northern California, has expanded its capabilities with the addition Allworx (News - Alert), a vendor partner providing businesses with VoIP solutions. Allworx is a wholly owned subsidiary of PAETEC Holding Corp.
In addition to Allworx, CCS is a major partner with industry-leading technology providers, including Microsoft, Cisco (News - Alert), VMWare, Citrix and Hewlett-Packard
"We're excited about the partnership with Allworx," said Brad Mendonsa, CEO of Clare Computer Solutions, in a statement.
Mendonsa said that this addition to the company’s suite of unified communications and IT support services will enable the company to provide even more value to the clients.
Officials with Clare Computer Solutions said that the company, which has been in business for 21 years, has been providing unified communications solutions through industry leaders.
Company officials said that with the advent of the partnership with Allworx, CCS can successfully meet the needs and improve the productivity of small- to medium-sized businesses, including those with multiple locations, and provide them with the cost-effective IP based telephone system and VoIP phones.
According to company officials, the CCS team is fully trained and certified on the Allworx platform, offering the company's full line of IP-based phone and network systems that converge voice and data over a single network, enabling businesses to achieve network efficiency and help to streamline office management.
Clare Computer Solutions, incorporated in 1990, focuses on its NetCentral – its network support service for small- and medium-sized businesses and CIO/CTO-level IT consulting. It also provides a wide variety of network services, including virtualization, design, implementation and management of computer networks, from small offices to complex multi-site solutions.
Back in March, Clare Computer Solutions announced that Brad Mendonsa will be the company’s new chief executive officer, and CCS president Ralph Lawhorn will become the company’s chief operating officer.
Mendonsa came to CCS in 2006, as part of a merger between CCS and Golden State Networks, of which he was a co-founder.
Since the merger, Mendonsa has been instrumental in increasing CCS’ IT Managed Services practice, as well as the company’s IT consulting business. He also has provided considerable influence on CCS’ corporate culture shift from a “breakfix” company to a provider of highly professional proactive IT support and consulting services.
In related industry news, Tone Software (News - Alert), a software development firm specializing in voice management, telecommunications, and IT infrastructure management solutions, has been sharing its story of how it helped San Jose-based AdvanTel Networks improve its customer service.
AdvanTel sells voice and data network services, including design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of business networks for a range of clients including small and medium businesses (SMBs) and enterprises. It is interested in keeping its client satisfaction up and when company officials realized that its existing remote monitoring and management technology was “inefficient and cumbersome,” they looked around for a change, according to a recent customer case study.
