Tone Software’s (News - Alert) ReliaTel VoIP Management solution, which manages VoIP call quality and the underlying converge network infrastructure, just got another bragging right when it was recognized as being with key Internet Protocol (IP) telephony solutions from Avaya (News - Alert), a global leader in business collaboration systems, software and services.
Tone Software, a leading provider of voice management technologies, offers its ReliaTel solution which is designed to provide comprehensive VoIP quality and service level management for converged environments, including real time VoIP QoS and QoE analysis and trunk performance reporting for Avaya Communications Manager through the SAT interface. The ReliaTel RTCP, SNMP, and SAT functionality is now compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Aura Communication Manager 6.0.
“ReliaTel delivers the essential answers and capabilities today’s service providers, VARs and enterprises require to effectively manage converged communications service levels from end to end – from the SIP trunks entering the LAN to the softphones on the desktops,” said Amit Kapoor, director of strategic technology advancement for Tone Software, in a statement. “Through compliance testing with industry leaders such as Avaya, our mutual clients may be assured of interoperable solutions that leverage the latest technologies and provide value to drive business success.”
Tone Software’s management solution helps IT support teams quickly and accurately pinpoint issues that can affect network quality performance by supplying them with a unified management portal.
Tone Software was able to submit its product for compatibility testing since it is a member of the Avaya DevConnect (News - Alert) program—an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network.
As a Gold member of the program, Tone Software submitted its product for testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab. There, a team of Avaya engineers works to verify whether a product is Avaya compliant. Doing so ensures businesses can confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure—speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs, according to company officials.
“Development partners like Tone Software are helping Avaya offer customers a broad selection of standards-based solutions that are compliance-tested for interoperability,” said Eric Rossman (News - Alert), vice president, developer relations, Avaya. “Tone’s ReliaTel enables businesses to use communications more effectively, helping to drive strategic business objectives and successfully compete in today's global economy.”
