VoIP technology provider Quintum Technologies announced today in a press release that it has been ranked sixth out of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in New Jersey in Deloitte & Touches Technology Fast 50 Program.

Deloittes program recognizes the 500 fastest-growing technology companies in the United States and Canada. Additionally, to qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had Operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2000 and $1,000,000 in 2004; and be a "technology company," defined as owning proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues, and/or devoting a significant proportion of revenues to research and development of technology.

This is the second consecutive top 10 ranking for Quintum, which has grown an astounding 3,319 percent from 2000-04.

The New Jersey-based companys tremendous growth can be attributed to qualities that providers must possess to remain competitive in the VoIP market.

Quintum has demonstrated prominence in the VoIP space with its Tenor VoIP MultiPath switches, which provide full compliance with the H.323 IP telephony standard, ensuring its interoperability with third-party hardware and software. According to the release, Tenors integrate call routing & processing for transparent deployment into existing voice (circuit and VoIP) and IP networks.
