Dialexia Communications' VoIP Solutions Fully Interoperable With Quintum(R) Tenor(R) Switches

Dialexia Communications(R), Inc., a leading manufacturer of voice-over-IP solutions, announced today that their IP-PBX (Dial-Office) and Softswitch with Billing (Dial-Gate) Solutions are 100% interoperable with the award-winning Tenor(R) switches and gateways from Quintum(R) Technologies, Inc., a leading VoIP innovator.

The units can be configured to interoperate with Dialexia's Dial-Media sever to handle SIP routing. For broadband telephony services the digital series from Quintum is an excellent choice to provide virtual phone numbers for residential VoIP subscribers. The phone calls coming from the PSTN are routed directly to the proxy which in turn forwards the correct number to the registered user through an IP-Phone or another Quintum Tenor for termination on a analog system such as a fax machine.

The Quintum Tenor is uniquely designed to support VoIP deployment for both enterprise and service provider applications. The MultiPath architecture provides survivable VoIP connectivity to both the local PSTN and analog systems in enterprise IP-PBX applications. It also makes them very easy to deploy as Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) for service providers offering VoIP services directly to the enterprise.

Quintum's Tenor switches allow voice communications to be carried over IP data networks with maximum efficiency, call quality and operational reliability. Because Tenor switches support industry standards such as SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and H.323, they interoperate seamlessly with third-party communications hardware and software.

"The use of Dialexia's Dial-Gate softswitch and Quintum's Tenor gateways was a strategic choice for our business model. Their products are both innovative and perform extremely well compared to other solutions that are available," said Brian Neely, Co-founder at Comlink. "What we particularly like about their applications are the excellent system management tools via their user-friendly interface portals. In addition, their support for the SIP standard was a must-have for us."

"The combination of Dialexia and Quintum provides an excellent solution to the fast growing demand for IP-PBXs in the SMB market," said Adlane Fellah, Analyst for Maravedis Research, Inc., in Quebec, Canada. "This provides a complete, easy to deploy solution that supports both the headquarters and branch offices."

"We are pleased to demonstrate the successful integration of our VoIP solutions with Quintum's Tenor switches and gateways; this enables us to furnish our customers with solid and reliable VoIP solutions and to affirm Dialexia's strategy in providing full SIP interoperability with the major players in the VoIP industry," says Mohamed El Mohri, CTO at Dialexia Communications. "We look forward to a long-term relationship with Quintum as their strategic partner in offering cost effective VoIP solutions."

"Dialexia's IP-PBX and Softswitch platforms have very successfully addressed the needs of their enterprise and service provider customer base," said Chuck Rutledge, VP of Marketing for Quintum. "We are very excited about the opportunity to support a complete VoIP solution for Dialexia's Dial-Office and Dial-Gate customers."
