3CX is known for its Windows-based VoIP IP PBX (News - Alert) system. The latest 3CX Version 12 software based VoIP phone system is now available from VoIP Supply, a value added reseller of VoIP hardware and solutions, the company said on Friday.

3CX phone system software is a Windows-based UC IP PBX that promises ease of use, mobility and increased productivity. 3CX Phone for Windows features an integrated SIP phone that easily switches between CTI (News - Alert) mode for office use and SIP Phone mode for use at home or on the road.

Version 12 now comes with a revamped suite of mobile and UC options to improve already existing Windows capabilities. For example, the personal phonebook entry is expanded with 10 additional custom fields.

The new version of 3CX Phone for Windows also supports latest versions of IP phones from companies like snom and Yealink (News - Alert). In addition to these, it supports Patton Gateways and adds provisioning URL’s to the 3CX Management Console.

The best feature of 3CX Version 12, according to the company, is the multi-platform client for Windows, Android, and iPhone.

3CX Phone (News - Alert) for Anroid and iPhone is just like a desktop Windows client, utilizing important UC features such as call transfers, voicemails, call recordings and multiple lines. The network sensor automatically detects whether users are in or out of the office.

Another feature of the new 3CX Phones is the PUSH Technology that automatically wakes up a mobile phone when a new VoIP call comes in. It also features Message Waiting Indicators (MWI) for missed calls and voicemails or chat messages.

The phone provides automatic updates and enables call control via mouse clicks, so users can both make and end calls, check voicemail and other call recordings, create and schedule conference calls, send invitations via e-mail, view presence of co-workers and more.
