Kolmisoft, a provider of billing and routing solutions, has formed a partnership with 5gFuture, a Toronto, Canada-based software design firm that creates innovative, next generation VoIP switch and monitoring tools.

The strategic alliance integrates MOR, Kolmisoft’s billing software, and 5gVision, an advanced VoIP and SNMP monitoring system from 5gFuture, to deliver a powerful, next generation visualized monitoring tool.

Komisoft designed MOR to expand VoIP into the enterprise environment without allowing any room for risks. The robust solution provides customers with a wide spectrum of capabilities including the ability to consistently monitor over 30 parameters to continuously view just updated information that can be easily looked over.

Some of these parameters include monitoring parameters like the percent of short calls and percentage of various disconnect codes encountered when calling out. Customers also can easily access statistics based on pricing and profits. 

5gVision bases the new reports and statistics on highly elaborate statistics which are all pre-calculated. They allow for around-the-clock monitoring of all points used in call routing. 

The integrated billing and routing solution has already yielded stunning results in a very high volume of data collection over the span of only weeks to a month. The new tool provides a flexible alternative to watching connections all the time.

Further, VoIP switch providers can significantly benefit from this service as they can now power additional services to customers. The new capabilities allow providers to easily begin managing new business models such as termination of services.

Telephony will be expanded to retailers and residents, even allowing for such features as calling cards and call shops. The features require no additional equipment and offer a single solution to manage any type of business model.

The new billing and routing solution also helps create transparency in the business model, says Andrew Han, CEO of LUCA Technology. According to Han, monitoring the softswitch has now become a nearly instantaneous process.
