VoIP Switch - VoxOx Unveils Updated VoIP Switch Mobile App

VoxOx (News - Alert), the first ever service that manages all forms of cross-media communication for consumers, recently released an upgraded version of its free mobile app called the VoxOx Call for iPhone (News - Alert).

This application comes complete with VoIP switch capabilities and offers iPhone users the option to make high quality VoIP calls over 3G, 4G, LTE (News - Alert), and Wi-Fi networks, as well as leverage the app’s original callback feature, VoxOx Call Connect, when the data connection is poor or inconsistent to make calls worldwide.

The earlier version of the VoxOx Call mobile app focused on the callback functionality for making phone calls, which utilized the traditional telephone network to initiate a call at VoxOx’s cheap worldwide calling rates. Now, the new app boasts VoIP calling features that use specialized CODEC and VoxOx’s VoIP switch cloud-based platform in order to allow users to place and receive free or low-cost, high-quality calls in virtually any connectivity situation.

“Mobile VoIP offers consumers great benefits, of which perhaps the most significant is the ability to make and receive free or extremely low cost calls worldwide,” said Bryan Hertz, CEO of Telcentris (News - Alert), creator of VoxOx, in a statement. “As most VoIP apps rely heavily on a user’s bandwidth and data connection, we decided to offer our users the ability to toggle between VoIP calls and our popular callback functionality in order to make their connectivity seamless, regardless of their bandwidth or quality of data service at any given time.”

In addition, the mobile app includes a variety of performance and usability enhancements related to the quality of its telephony features, app design and user experience. It also comes with a number of extras, including two-way worldwide SMS with language translation, inbound and outbound faxing, find me call forwarding, voicemail transcription and on-call star commands.

The on-call star commands allow users to create multi-party conference calls, switch devices mid-call, digitally record calls and more.

Automatic Database Backup
The Softswitch includes the system which allows performing automatic backup of the database periodically.

Ability to Get exchange rate using external script
Exchange rates can be set using external custom script.
