Voip-Pal.Com Completes Beta Testing of Voip Switch

Voip-Pal.Com Inc., a broadband telecom company that offers local and long distance VoIP services to consumers and business owners, has completed initial beta testing of its proprietary and innovative VoIP switch.
With this new solution in hand, the company will be targeting VoIP-based equipment manufacturers, cellular telecommunications carriers, Network Service Providers (NSPs), telecommunications service providers and cable operators.
The company ralso revealed that it has attained five patents from Digifonica International (Gibraltar) Limited which will enable it to provide large scale VoIP equipment manufacturers and NSPs with a product offering that protects their corporate identity while simultenously powering unique, market leading products and solutions to their subscribers.
"In addition to our ability to license these patents to major players in the VoIP industry we will have the ability to license our proprietary framework to other VoIP companies to enable to them to meet and/or exceed current and future regulatory requirements with respect to areas such as Lawful Intercept and Emergency Services," said Dennis Chang, president of Voip-Pal, in a statement.
"While our Licensing focus will target significant Partner/Subscribers, Voip-Pal will also be able to generate licensing revenue from the competition as well," Chang added.
In other company news, back in June Voip-Pal.Com Inc. revealed that it has completed redeployment of the PointsPhone Mobile Android and iPhone (News - Alert) Apps on its retail website. Customers can now download the free apps from the Android Market for Android OS version 2.3, and higher as well as from the iTunes store for iPhone versions 3G and higher.
