VoIP Switch: ALDIA Logistica to Deploy IP Telephony Solution to TelOnline SASNovember 28, 2011

ALDIA Logistica, a logistics operator, has received a contract to deploy an IP telephony solution to TelOnline SAS (News - Alert). Commenting on the selection of TelOnline, Javier Leal Alvarez, project engineer at ALDIA Logistica, said in a release, “It provided the best solutions for our company needs. We needed a solution that allowed us a constant and detailed follow up of our delivery service. The solution provided by TelOnline (News - Alert) allowed us to monitor each customer campaign providing an effective control of their calls.” It is expected that this deployment will enhance the business phone systems and unified communications for ALDIA in Colombia. Also the solution provided by TelOnline will encompass VoIP telephony, full recording integrated to the shipping tracking system, automatic dialer server and integration of offices in Bogota, Medellin and Cali. According to company sources, this platform is based on Switchvox (News - Alert) SMB AA305, a Grandstream GXW4104 VoIP Gateway. This VoIP switch converts analog lines to IP and is an auto-dialer application that is developed and customized by TelOnline to allow easy management and control of the logistics operation. SMB AA305 is a widely adopted open source communications software that offers all the features required in a unified communications solution. It will serve as an economical, high performance, full featured IP PBX (News - Alert) as the Switchvox SMB AA305 supports up to 45 concurrent calls and up to 150 users. It is also equipped to support up to 10 call recordings and up to 15 simultaneous conference calls participants. SMB AA305 has a real time switchboard application for every user that can be managed through the Web interface and via smartphones like BlackBerry, iPhone and Android. It was also revealed that the Grandstream GXW4104 Gateway (News The Voice Dialer Server, integrated with Switchvox’s API helps ALDIA Logística to configure voice messages to be sent to the customers contact list through the Web. It is essentially a Web-based program that manages and contacts leads and customers in real time. Also it greatly reduces the time taken to reach customers when compared to manual dialing.
