To participate in the sweepstake, entrants simply “like” WhichVoIP on Facebook. Entries are will be accepted until Oct. 23, 2011. The winner will get $200 Visa gift card.

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology has an extra edge over traditional phone service not only because of its price but also because of the depth of service and features, portability, and convenience. The market is crowded with the entry of new participants every day.

As VoIP gains popularity in both residential and business spaces, there is a need for an unbiased, impartial source to provide a place where consumers can compare service provider options and leave detailed feedback for others. 

WhichVoIP offers free, unlimited access to provider reviews by peers and actual customers. The Web site also details special deals to various VoIP service providers. “We feel that the core mission for WhichVoIP is providing valuable, impartial and accurate information,” said Andrew Forgrieve, WhichVoIP’s director of marketing, in a statement. By encouraging people to participate and interact on Facebook, the company is continuing to fulfill that mission and it’s a way to reward the community, Forgrieve added.

The Seattle, WA-based consists of experts in the VoIP and telecommunications field who help consumers understand VoIP technology and have the information available to choose the best VoIP phone service for their needs.

Earlier in June, a Point Topic research said that VoIP had more than 120 million subscribers worldwide. The VoIP market is set to accelerate to generate $40 billion annual revenue by 2015. VoIP market grew 12.6 percent during 2010. There are more opportunities left for VoIP around the world, the report said.
