VoIP solutions have become an integral part of any company’s communications infrastructure, allowing them to see the most benefits from their IP infrastructure in the shortest period of time.
Realizing this, recently Hill & Co. Real Estate, a San Francisco brokerage firm, has decided to install a new state-of-the-art VoIP phone system.
For this project, the company selected ShoreTel (News - Alert), which is a major manufacturer of VoIP and unified communication systems. Boasting features like intelligent call forwarding and voicemail-to-email conversions, the newly introduced VoIP phone system allows agents to stay in touch with their clients whether they are in the office or out in the field.
Additionally, a brand new data network was put in place in all of brokerage offices to facilitate this new technology.
In a press release, Brian Wilcox, Hill & Co. Director of Technology said, “Our agents will tell you their phone may be their single most important business tool. They need to be in constant contact with clients, support staff, service providers and lenders. This new system ensures that they will enjoy seamless access to voice and online communication, regardless of their location.”
With four offices and nearly 100 full-time agents, Hill & Co. Real Estate enables clients to successfully navigate San Francisco’s complex real estate market. This year, the company made it its mission to invest heavily in its infrastructure and technology systems. In fact, a second large technology project is currently underway and by the end of 2013 the company anticipates that all of its mission critical digital operations will be run on next-generation equipment.
