If you are involved in the rapidly expanding VoIP solutions industry, then you surely know of Teo, a company that is continuously launching innovative communication solutions that help businesses reap many benefits including increased efficiency and reduced costs.
Today, the company has – like Britney Spears song “Oops, I’ve done it again” – unveiled the Teo UC Mini Server. Developed with small businesses in mind, the server will provide the same features as Teo’s enterprise platform at half its price, allowing capabilities that were once only available to enterprises to now be available to small to mid-size organizations.
“More than anyone, small businesses need to maximize the productivity of every employee,” said Thomas Beck, director of marketing and business development at Teo in a statement. “Teo’s UC solution – with its robust mobile UC capabilities – effectively allows them to expand their presence by providing access to all of their communications tools anywhere at any time. By offering a version of our market-changing UC solution at a price point that’s achievable for SMBs, we’re providing them with a significant competitive advantage and return on investment.”
Currently leveraging the Teo UC Mini Server, AltaSource Group, a software consulting company, has been able to easily streamline communications for its 58 employees located within North and South America. The company was looking for a single VoIP solution that could seamlessly integrate video and voice conferencing, chat and mobility and realized Teo was the ideal partner it was looking for.
“The nature of our business means that we run in a distributed environment – we have customers, developers and partners in different cities or even different countries,” Scott Craig, managing partner of AltaSource Group added. “We need a cost-effective, single platform that could accommodate all of our communications needs, as well as something that could scale with the growth of our business, and Teo fit the bill perfectly. With Teo UC, we get the full feature set and ability to customize without the costs traditionally associated with a UC solution of this caliber – it’s truly a price performer.”
The company is also using the TeoUC mobile client to power real-time communication between employees, customers and partners. In addition, the solution is assisting its employees in being available to meet client needs, no matter where they are located.
