Bitflow VoIP Chooses Atreus Solution to Speed Deployment, Handle Customer Self-Provisioning

By Patrick Barnard, TMCnet Associate Editor

Canadian VoIP services provider Bitflow VoIP Inc. (News - Alert) has reportedly selected Atreus’ IP Service Provisioning Software to both speed deployment and allow its customers to self-provision their services.

Atreus is a leader in provisioning, activation and customer self-management software for VoIP, triple play, messaging, IPTV (News - Alert), security, IMS and collaboration services. The company, which has been partnering with VoIP solutions provider Broadsoft for quite some time, announced in June the integration of Atreus’ Automated Provisioning Software with BroadSoft’s (News - Alert) QuickStart Express Program. The QuickStart Express program offers tools and services to simplify the processes service providers encounter when deploying new VoIP services. Atreus adds portal templates for users, including executive, assistant, mobile worker and teleworkers; streamlined service ordering and provisioning using simplified, self-management portals; simplified bulk order templates for typical users and feature bundle creation; automated IP phone ordering and configuration; and simplified integration with PSTN interconnect, Local Number Portability, directory listings, and emergency services.

Using the combined solution, Atreus will enable Bitflow to quickly and efficiently deploy wireless and VoIP bundles which can be self-provisioned by Bitflow’s customers. This will reduce the cost and complexity of managing customer growth.

“As we continue to expand our customer base nationally and internationally we’ll require scalable and cost-effective solutions that will help us successfully deliver and manage wireless and VoIP offerings,” said Alexandre Sennett, CEO, Bitflow VoIP, in a press release. “Atreus provided us with an extensible provisioning solution for BroadSoft, which will help us meet the growing demand for our service offerings by streamlining operations and business processes while providing self-management capabilities to our customers.”

“Atreus will play a critical role in helping Bitflow launch its wireless and residential VoIP service,” added Andrea Baptiste, CEO, Atreus Systems. “Together with BroadSoft, we’ll enable Bitflow to roll out superior VoIP offerings, while giving them the scalability to grow their VoIP business and manage a full range of advanced IP services.”

Atreus delivers pre-integrated provisioning and configuration for a variety of VoIP devices, including soft switches, feature servers, media servers, ATAs, IADs and IP phones. The company helps service providers to quickly and smoothly deploy new services by streamlining all the steps required to become operational.
