Thinkbright has announced a new reseller program and a reorganization to support it, claiming that the program will enable affiliates to generate online income by referring customers for voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) products and services.

The company functions as a traditional local/long distance telephone company, and also as a VoIP carrier through ownership of its own switching facilities and fiber network. Its VoIP Communications network is fully redundant. Company officials said that they are interconnected via three tier one IP backbone providers.

Jeff Jones, director of global SMB Reseller Partnerships at Thinkbright, said that the program has received huge funding in the hopes that more business owners will become aware of the new form of communication called VoIP.

Calling Business VoIP affordable, inexpensive and tech savy, Jones said that it has everything a small business needs to look like a large enterprise business with multiple offices and departments.

There are even software clients that could be installed in the laptop or ipad, enabling business employees to stay connected with customers in and out of the office, Jones said.

Thinkbright plans to fully launch its VoIP Reseller program in January 2011. It’s expected to allow a few beta testers into the program in December 2010.

Earlier last month, ThinkBright revealed enterprise level VoIP PBX (News - Alert) solutions at low-cost, possibly saving businesses hundreds plus dollars a month on phone costs.
