Micro United Networks Appointed as a 3CX Distributor for VoIP Phones

By Rajani Baburajan, TMCnet Contributor

Micro United Networks (MUN), a leading South-East Asian distributor of Grandstream phones, announced partnership with 3CX, a developer of VoIP phones and PBX (News - Alert) systems, to offer low-cost business phone systems to businesses of all sizes.

3CX is the developer of 3CX Phone (News - Alert) System – an open standard unified communications platform for Windows that works with standard SIP phones and replaces a proprietary PBX.

Under the terms of the partnership, MUN will be providing businesses in the South-East Asian market with a competitively priced Windows-based VoIP PBX phone system solution that offers quality whilst reducing monthly telephone and admin costs, company officials said. In addition, MUN will also offer full 3CX training and support for all 3CX resellers within South-East Asia.

The partnership will enable Micro United resellers to deliver turnkey VoIP systems and/or design their own custom based communication solution suiting the needs of end customers, said Sathish Kumar, CEO, Micro United Network (News - Alert), in a statement. “With this partnership, we believe we can add true value to our resellers with a unique product offering supplemented by our distribution support activities.”

Micro United already offers phones from Grandstream, NET/Quintum (News - Alert), Genband, & Hypermedia. With the inclusion of 3CX, the company enables its dedicated partners to offer an integrated IT platform for voice, data and multimedia to enhance their customers’ productivity and performance goals, according to company officials.

3CX has been expanding its sales channel in Asia. Recently the company appointed MVC as a distributor within the South Asian market. Micro United Networks’ appointment is a major step in covering the South-East Asian markets, according to company officials.

“By combining 3CX and our other product ranges, we are confident that the partnership with 3CX offers our existing and prospective accounts the best business phone system features at just the right price. We will be informing our resellers with regards to the various discounts that will be available as well as informing all our partners when our first 3CX Training Event will take place,” said Sathish Kumar.
