In less than a month, Allworx—a small business VoIP company—has added two new members to its executive team. Today, Allworx announced that Thomas Grinde has become its new Executive Vice President of Sales.
Grinde brings more than 25 years of channel experience in the telecom industry to Allworx. In his role as EVP Sales, Grinde will lead the development of the Allworx sales channel.
Prior to Allworx, Grinde worked for the North American division of Tadiran Telecom; as VP of Sales there he was responsible for managing the Sprint ( News - Alert) OEM contract and multiple dealer relationships.
During his four-year tenure at Tadiran, Grinde orchestrated the development of the company’s partner program and was instrumental in the launch of numerous Coral products and the Emerald ICE Key System.
Prior to Tadiran, Grinde was founder and CEO of a multi-office interconnect, which he ran for 12 years until its sale in 2001. Grinde also worked at Comdial, holding numerous sales management positions during a 12 year period where, as director of sales, he helped grow that company's revenue to $125 million.
In early August, Allworx appointed Chris Hasenauer as its new Chief Financial Officer. Hasenauer brings more than 15 years of financial and telecommunications management experience to the company. In his role as CFO, Hasenauer will oversee Allworx’s fundraising activities, and he will guide the company’s day-to-day financial operations.
Hasenauer comes to Allworx from PAETEC Communications, a leading provider of voice, video, and data solutions, where he served as Vice President of Finance. During his seven years with PAETEC, Hasenauer had direct responsibility over the company’s treasury and fundraising efforts, which helped PAETEC grow from $150 thousand to more than $500 million in annual revenue.
Hasenauer had a prominent role in developing and closing seven acquisitions while at PAETEC and helped raise more than $134 million of private equity.
