Empirix Lands Industry Awards for Speech Technology

An extensive line of products from Empirix has garnered three top awards from Technology Marketing Corporation, including the Customer Interaction Solutions 2009 Speech Technology Excellence Award for its OneSight solution.
The Massachusetts-based company, which specializes in helping organizations adopt complex communications solutions, in recent years has extended its development of the IP communications industry through its Hammer and OneSight products.
Empirix also received the INTERNET TELEPHONY 2009 TMC Labs Innovation Award and the Unified Communications (News - Alert) 2009 TMC Labs Innovation Award for its Hammer Edge solution.
OneSight 7.0 provides operators with the ability to create custom reports and dashboards that are tailored to the reporting and monitoring needs of their business. It is considered a performance management solution designed to identify and resolve the problems found in the complex technology of contact centers.
“These awards are presented to the best and the most unique products and services that this industry has to offer,” said Tom Keating, CTO and TMC (News - Alert) Labs editorial director.
The custom reports created are a byproduct of the OneSight platform for contact centers ability to monitor customer and agent experience, and verify that operations are functioning properly, while detecting performance impacting problems.
The dual awards for the Hammer Edge are a nod to its versatility as a platform.
Since 1992, Empirix’s Hammer testing and monitoring solutions have helped network equipment manufacturers, service providers and enterprise contact centers transition to new technologies including unified communications IP contact Centers, VoIP, NGN, and IMS-based networks.
The Hammer Edge is also geared for the same market and is designed to ensure the quality and performance of products and services, while reducing time to market, increasing service revenues and improving test productivity.
