VoIP Management Provider Clarus Systems Issues New Version of Flagship Product

Adding Cisco (News - Alert) TelePresence testing, reporting, and monitoring to its ClarusIPC Plus (version 4.1) solution recently, Clarus Systems enhanced its testing and monitoring support for Cisco Voice, Video, and Unified Communications (News - Alert) applications.


The company’s flagship product now includes inventory and configuration reporting for Cisco Unity Connection voicemail system. A number of other features will also be available beginning in May including TelePresence Automated Testing, and Unity Connection Reporting.

Brendan Reidy (News - Alert), CEO, Clarus Systems, stated, “Clarus developed our new TelePresence testing and monitoring capabilities in collaboration with several major clients. Clarus allows these customers to more fully capture the investment value in Cisco TelePresence through increased reliability and availability.”

The new features will allow users to remotely schedule and execute tests automatically in order to verify network tagging, connectivity of devices, audio and media streams, or establish calls between two or more pairs of TelePresence endpoints.

The ClarusIPC Plus v4.1 also has the ability to integrate with network management system vendors including HP and CA (News - Alert). Clarus revealed newly added integration with CA Spectrum 9.2.

As a leader in VoIP management software and services, Clarus included several more features in its recent upgrade of the ClarusIPC Plus v4.1 product. With new endpoint configuration reporting and change tracking, registration status reporting and monitoring, the company’s flagship product makes for increased cost efficiency, and workforce productivity.
