Sangoma Technologies and Brekeke Software announced the completion of a successful interoperability tests between Brekeke (News - Alert) PBX, and Sangoma's NetBorder Express Gateway, both based on the SIP communication protocol for Voice-over-IP (VoIP).

 

Sangoma’s NetBorder Express utilizes existing Sangoma T1/E1 hardware into SIP-compliant, VoIP Media Gateway (News - Alert) solutions for developers and system integrators. Based on this successful validation of interoperability users can rely on the fact that the Brekeke PBX (News - Alert) software can now be used with Sangoma's NetBorder Express Gateway as a gateway device to create a cost-effective IP telephony communication system.

 

The Brekeke PBX is a SIP-based IP-PBX system that provides IP communications for enterprises and service providers. The Multi-Tenant Edition of the Brekeke PBX system is designed for service providers. It provides a means to deploy solutions for service providers who want to offer hosted IP-PBX services on either a Windows or Linux platform.
