Sangoma Technologies Corporation, premium provider of software-centric media and signal processing hardware, has announced the introduction of its fastest ADSL data networking card, the S519 ADSL2+, which provides a simple, internal solution.

 

“The card is fully integrated, so it doesn’t require external plug packs,” said David Mandelstam (News - Alert), CEO of Sangoma. “Cabling is also simplified. Just an ADSL connection is necessary.”

 

With a faster uplink speed of ADSL2+, the new ADSL data networking card is ideal for server and gateway applications for VoIP, VPN, HTTP, and FTP servers. Company officials say that the faster downlink speed is designed for fast Internet access and IPTV (News - Alert).

 

In addition to faster speeds, the onboard Ethernet controller makes the operating system think the card is a standard network card, enabling it to work with most OSes without the need for special drivers.

 

The S519 ADSL2+ completes the Sangoma data networking card series, which includes theA142 and A144, designed for synchronous serial applications, the A301, designed for T3/E3 connections, and the A56, an external router alternative for DDS lines.
